Avail Entertainment LLC uses the shared Candy Box/Avail filmmaker service to receive projects, manage authorized access and administer submissions and film relationships. Contact jj@availfilms.com about privacy.

Information handled

We receive your account identifier and email from sign-in, the name and contact details you provide, film metadata, rights and territory information, uploaded review materials, and submission status. Where you use reporting or partner features, the service also handles film-specific permissions, business correspondence and reports. Privacy acknowledgements record your typed name, account, policy version and acceptance time.

Purpose and access

We use this information to evaluate submissions, communicate with you, manage uploads, protect accounts, administer authorized film relationships and maintain business records. Authorized staff and service providers supporting authentication, hosting, storage and delivery may process this information. Film partners receive access according to the permissions assigned to them. Submitting a private review copy does not automatically make it public or authorize third-party distribution.

Your materials and rights

This notice explains information handling. Acknowledging it does not grant film rights, authorize public release, change the revenue share, or replace a distribution contract. Any platform license and distribution arrangement require a separate agreement. Provide personal information about partners only when you are authorized to do so.

Retention, choices and security

We retain submissions, permissions, correspondence and business records as needed for review, administration, security, disputes and applicable legal obligations. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion. Requests are subject to identity verification and applicable retention requirements. Cancelling an incomplete upload is not a request to erase all account or reporting records. Storage and hosting providers may process information internationally. We use access controls and secure connections, but cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to object, restrict processing, request portability or complain to a privacy regulator. Contact us to exercise applicable rights. Processing supports requested services, legitimate administrative and security needs, legal obligations, or consent where required.

Viewer app privacy

The separate Candy Box / Avail app privacy policy explains viewer playback and advertising data. Signing this filmmaker acknowledgement is not consent on behalf of viewers to advertising tracking.

Updates

Changes will be posted here with a revised effective date. Your submission records retain the version acknowledged at submission.
